A Rahway resident was shot early Saturday.
NEWARK -- Police arrested a man Sunday wanted in the shooting of a Rahway resident.
Darius Mitchell, 36, of Newark, was charged with aggravated assault and gun possession, city police said.
Mitchell allegedly shot a 35-year-old man early Saturday on Hawkins Street, police said. The Rahway man was treated and released from University Hospital.
Police arrested Mitchell in the area of Clinton Avenue after receiving a tip.
