4 alleged members of cocaine distribution ring arrested

The ring operated in Passaic, Clifton and Belleville, authorities said.

PATERSON -- Police arrested four people Friday who were allegedly part of a cocaine distribution ring operating in Passaic, Clifton and Belleville.

Police made the arrests after a six-month investigation, according to an announcement by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, the Passaic and Clifton police departments and the New Jersey division of the federal Drug Enforcement Agency.

Dashawn Jones, 29, of Passaic; Larry Little, 42, of Belleville; Deja Walker, 37, of Clifton; and Allen Danzler, 59, of Passaic were charged with conspiracy to distribute drugs. Jones and Little were also charged with drug possession and possession with intent to distribute.

Police charged Jones with evidence tampering and Little with resisting arrest.

Police executed 10 search warrants in Passaic, Clifton and Belleville as part of the investigation, authorities said. More arrests and charges are pending.
